Yes a few steps to go through, drill a few holes in the block deck, put the C head on a bridgeport and mill the square coolant hole round and plug with a freeze plug. The biggest obstacle always is the intake. If plan on using a 2v head I wouldnt waste the time and energy with that head.

Why not find a cleveland block and build that. Bolts in anywhere a 302 will go with the right headers and pan. Same transmission, run a 351W flywheel/flexplate (same as a C). A tad shorter then a 351W but a little wider due to the size of the heads. They are very capable iron heads. They will outperform many of the average aluminum heads.
